About NEBS Projects

NEBS Projects is a company started by Jonathan Ryder and his fellow Director Lawrence Richardson in February 2011. Jonathan had been busy with numerous Design and Build Projects across the UK for the last 25 years. Lawrence had been at the helm of the very successful NEBS (North East Business Services) based in Sunderland for over 20 years. Their collaboration in 2011 was with view to developing a Design and Build Projects company. This was to bring together Jonathan’s expertise of Design and Build with its fresh approach, to a new company operating in parallel with the existing NEBS. This allows the two Directors to maximise the skill and cost synergies available across the two companies and thus offer the client an experienced, prestigious team for the best value.

About Jonathan Ryder

Jonathan leads on NEBS Projects and has historically always been immersed in the world of Design and Build. His father, the late Gordon Ryder OBE, together with the late Peter Yates, founded the eponymous Ryder architecture. Jonathan inherited his father’s passion for buildings and a unique flair for design and space planning. This flair is enhanced by an in-depth knowledge of the mechanics of a building ensuring the marriage of design and function. Jonathan’s higher education (at what is now Northumbria University) and subsequent experience, also supports a precision approach to cost and procurement. The client can be assured of a distinguished, immaculate build and a precise, closely monitored programme.
